This villa-based, small-group guided tour in partnership with Lale Travel in September and October, 2022 is to select sites in Rome, Naples, and beyond. Hadrian's villa in Tivoli: Ostia Antica, the ancient port of Rome. Around the city of Rome: the Palatine Hill, the Via Sacra, the Pantheon, the Vatican Roman collection, the Baths of Diocletian, Santa Maria degli Angeli and Museo Massimo.  We will then visit the Naples and the Archeological Museum and the towns resurrected since the catastrophic eruption of Mount Vesuvius in the 1st century: Pompeii, Herculaneum and Oplontis.
